James draws on his extensive financial planning and banking background to provide tailored solutions that are bespoke to the families he works with. His experience spans investment management and analysis, structuring and tax, succession and intergenerational wealth planning, governance, philanthropy, and social capital.

James has a Master of Financial Planning, Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Business Law) and a Diploma of Financial Planning (RG146).

Andrew Fitzgerald

Andrew has been a pivotal part of the Candor team since 2020. Drawing on his background as a business owner, accountant and corporate tax advisor, he proficiently provides high-level support –including investment monitoring, and cash flow and tax management – to more than half of our clients.

Prior to joining Candor, Andrew worked at KPMG in their Corporate Tax Division. He also worked as an exercise physiologist, specialising in elite cycling performance. As well as a Bachelor of Science, he holds a Master of Professional Accounting and a Graduate Certificate of Financial Planning.

Max Bayly

Max plays a pivotal role in bolstering the capabilities of Candor’s Private Chief Financial Officers, contributing extensively to the execution of meticulously crafted client strategies.

Max joined Candor in 2013 and brings a wealth of experience to the table, particularly in the realm of financial planning. His has a Bachelor of Commerce from UWA, as well as a Diploma of Financial Planning.

Sam’s practical perspective is focused on enhancing the efficiency of his clients’ administrative processes and developing resilient investment portfolios that ensure peace of mind, regardless of market conditions.

Sam holds the prestigious CFA Charterholder (CFA) designation and membership with the Chartered Accountants Australian & New Zealand (CA). He has a Bachelor of Commerce from UWA and a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning.

Jane Anderson

A founding director of Candor, Jane crafts customised investment strategies that align with her clients unique financial objectives. She has been a Private Banker at ANZ Bank, an Investment Adviser at JBWere Limited, a Financial Planner at Norgard Clohessy Financial Planning, and an Account Representative at Bloomberg Sydney.

Jane has a Bachelor of Economics from UWA and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia (formerly FINSIA).
